We All Need Mirrors 🪞
There's a reason that the gym is full of mirrors. They're there to reflect back to us what we couldn't see on our own.
But there's another kind of mirror beyond the shiny reflective one we mostly associate our thoughts with. They're our life mirrors or better said, our people mirrors.
Who are our mirrors? These are the people who can help us see the parts of us that we can’t see. The people that push us to be great, give us safe spaces, and accountability. The people who help us see our faults and put us back on the right path. The people who see gifts and encourage us to pursue and stay relentless.
But even more important than those people mirrors, we all need “The Mirror” — Jesus Himself — who helps us live up to the standard He calls us to, and to reflect Him (and His goodness) into our dark world. Who are your mirrors?
